My favorite corrector!! -- Bobbi Brown Corrector Review

We all want to cover our uneven skin tones and those extra stubborn discolorations that don't seem to fade away. To help with discoloration on the face I use a corrector, typical a salmon, orangish color. Orange helps conceal a dark purple/blue blemish better then a regular concealer. Bobbi Brown is has my all time favorite correctors, these correctors help specifically with under eye and bluish/purplish spots. This corrector has been on my favorite list for the past year now. I have tried plenty of correctors from drug store to high end, I always come back to this one. What I love about this corrector is that it is a full coverage product, so the smallest amount will go conceal a lot. The consistency is creamy, pigmented, thick but not to thick. It will not cake up if you know how to blend it out, it is not enough just to apply it with your brush and done, you need to set it with a loose powder.

The one problem I have had since forever are these blue/green discoloration marks on the sides of my nose; not the worst problem to have. Annoyingly when I do apply concealer it still peaks through, no concealer can properly conceal it without me adding 3 or more layers. Crazy I know, but this corrector solves my problem, even though it will be two layers of product, with the corrector you really don't need that much concealer afterwards. Now this isn't the type of corrector we see on the social media where its a bright orange or bright red that some people apply underneath their eyes, thats to much work and it doesn't even work.  This corrector comes in 18 shades so it will help corrector from the lightest to the darkest of shades. This retails for $27.. pricey I know but worth the money.

Website: Bobbi Browns Statement from their website: "Waterproof, sweat and humidity-resistant, this long-wearing formula boasts a uniquely creamy-smooth texture for perfectly smooth coverage that's easy to blend and won't crease. Infused with skin conditioners to protect the delicate under eye area and available in 16 skin-tone-correct correcting shades (so everyone gets a match).

HOW TO APPLY

The shade I use is "Light Peach", be sure you are using a good hydrating under eye moisturizer, since this is a thick corrector it will stick to the dry patch's. 1) I don't have any foundation or concealer on my skin, so you can clearly see the blue discoloration on the sides of my nose and purple/bluish under eye. 2) I have applied it on the blue discolored area and underneath my eyes. 3) After applying the corrector, I have applied the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer and blended it out with a beauty blender. You can blend it out one at a time but I choose to do both at the same time to save time. My under eye tends to crease most of the time so I applied the RCMA No Color Powder underneath my eyes to prevent concealer from creasing.

I hope you all enjoyed this blog!
