Fringetastic!

Fringetastic!

Spring is officially here and we are jumping into the latest trends. The one I noticed that is slowing climbing up its way trend ladder is Fringe! Every fashion we spot trends on the runway that are sure to be huge next season. While we are often introduced to new trends, some just keep repeating themselves and refuse to die ( aka crop tops). Such is the case with the most ubiquitous fall 2015 fad, fringe. We saw fringe all over the spring 2015 and now it has made an appearance at big shows like Ralph Lauren Polo and Mara Hoffman. Though fringe might seem like a trickier trend to pull off, it works really well on coats, jackets and skirts, as well as on accessories like handbags and shoes. Needless to say, you can wear it just about anywhere.
Check out all the fringe we've spotted at NYFW so far and tell us these looks aren't fringetastic!

At Proenza Schouler, designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez closed their spring/summer 2015 show with dresses and skirts spliced into unraveling strands that swished and swooshed with every single step (above, left). Designer Alberta Ferretti flashed back to the ’70s with dreamy free-spirited creations with second-skin sheer fabrics and pretty floral appliques. Amid them, suede fringe (some dyed in pastels) took over hemlines, gilets and dresses (above, center). At Elie Tahari, the designer made Bohemian modern with tiered leather shreds (above, right).
